Fog Rolls Over Aces 100-93 as Dubois Shines in Clutch
San Francisco's Strong Second Half Buries Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS – The San Francisco Fog weathered an early storm and then took control, handing the Las Vegas Aces a 100-93 defeat in a hard-fought Pro League matchup at the Ace Arena. The Fog’s relentless offensive pressure and timely defensive stops in the second half proved too much for the Aces, who struggled with their shooting throughout the contest.
The game remained tight through the first quarter, with both teams exchanging blows. However, the Fog began to find their rhythm offensively midway through the second, fueled by sharp three-point shooting and a dominant presence on the boards. Las Vegas fought back, with Sasha Volkov and Elias Bergstrom leading the charge, but San Francisco’s balanced attack kept them just ahead.
The turning point came in the third quarter. The Fog, led by a stellar performance from Serena Dubois, began to pull away, capitalizing on Aces turnovers and extending their lead with a barrage of outside shots. Chen Wei’s defensive presence was felt, with multiple crucial blocks, stifling Aces comeback attempts. Despite a late surge from the Aces in the final minutes, San Francisco’s lead was too substantial to overcome.
“We knew they were going to come out strong, but we stayed composed and executed our game plan,” said Fog guard Serena Dubois, who finished with 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists, including a critical late steal. “It’s a big road win for us, and we’re building momentum.”
For the Aces, Elias Bergstrom and Sasha Volkov each poured in 15 points, but it wasn’t enough to carry the team to victory. “We just couldn’t get into a consistent flow tonight,” commented Aces Head Coach Sarah Miller. “Credit to San Francisco, they played a great game, especially down the stretch.”
