NEW YORK – The Denver Prowlers delivered a masterful offensive performance at the Madison Square Garden, dismantling the New York Knights 110-90 on Tuesday night. Aided by a relentless barrage of three-pointers and exceptional ball movement, Denver dictated the tempo from the opening tip, silencing the home crowd with their decisive victory.
The game’s narrative solidified in the second quarter when Denver, after a closely contested first period, unleashed a blistering offensive stretch. Kaelen Reid ignited the run with a series of aggressive drives to the basket, followed by clutch threes from Matias Ribeiro and Axel Jorgensen. The Knights struggled to find their offensive rhythm, hampered by a stingy Prowlers defense that limited their looks.
Denver’s ball security was a critical factor. The Prowlers dished out an impressive 29 assists against a mere 5 turnovers, creating open looks for multiple scorers. Maya Reed was instrumental in orchestrating the offense, tallying 13 points, a game-high 9 rebounds, and 6 assists. Kaelen Reid led all scorers with 21 points for the Prowlers.
For the Knights, Sofia Eriksson was a bright spot, pouring in 19 points and adding 4 assists. Casper Jorgensen also contributed a double-double with 15 points and 9 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Denver’s consistent offensive firepower.
“We knew we had to come in and execute at a high level,” said Prowlers guard Maya Reed post-game. “Our movement was key tonight. When we share the ball like that, we’re a tough team to guard.”
Knights Head Coach, David Solomon, acknowledged the Prowlers’ dominance. “They shot the ball exceptionally well, and their passing was superb. We had some good moments, but we couldn’t sustain it. We need to learn from this and get better.”
