ROME – The Rome Centurions delivered a commanding performance at home, overwhelming the San Francisco Fog with a 112-89 victory. A relentless rebounding effort and a balanced offensive attack proved too much for the Fog, securing a crucial win in Pro League play.

The Centurions established their dominance early, using a strong second quarter to build a lead they would never relinquish. Elian Foster led the charge for Rome, pouring in a game-high 24 points and adding 9 rebounds. His efficiency from the field, combined with clutch three-point shooting from Maya Dubois (9 points, 6 assists) and timely contributions from across the roster, kept the Fog’s defense scrambling.

San Francisco’s Chen Wei matched Foster’s scoring output with a valiant 24 points, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Rome’s superior rebounding and ball movement. The Centurions outrebounded the Fog 60-52, including a significant 18 offensive boards, which translated into second-chance points and sustained pressure.

“We knew we had to control the boards tonight,” said Centurions Head Coach Isabella Rossi. “Our guys bought in, and it opened up so many opportunities for us on offense. Elian was incredible, but it was a total team effort.”

Foster echoed the sentiment. “It felt good to see the ball go in tonight, but more importantly, we played together. We communicated on defense and trusted each other to make plays.”

The Fog showed flashes of their potential, with Lars Andersen adding 15 points, but a significant block party from San Francisco’s defense, led by Isabella Aoki (3 blocks), couldn’t stifle Rome’s consistent scoring.
